Because you can never see White Christmas enough.

So, I see that A&E got around to canceling Dog the Bounty Hunter. They term it an indefinite suspension but after Yum! Brands (Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, etc.) pulled their advertising I imagine indefinite translates to: see ya, wouldn’t want to be ya!
I like the Chapman clan. Or rather, I dislike them intensely enough to thoroughly enjoy watching every episode. Kind of like I enjoy reading LGF and listening to the finely crafted melodies of the Bee Gees. All indulgences that I partake of a little more than is healthy; but they all leave me feeling a little dirty and I like that in a vice.
The guy’s a jerk. That’s pretty much a given and knowing that he is a racist jerk only makes him more attractive to me. I can finally dislike Mr. Chapman for a better reason than his odd manner of dress and constant self-aggrandizement. Unfortunately, he won’t be around long enough for my distaste to blossom into a true and lasting loathing, so I’ll have to move on. Some of those wannabe chefs on Bravo really chap my ass and I hear there’s some Australian dude getting ready to boil baby eagles for supper just a few dozen clicks away.
It’s a shame, really. Handled properly, this could have been a boon for A&E. I think there is plenty of room on television for a white supremacist bounty hunter. If the Chapman family was toting ball bats rather than cans of pepper-spray and went to Docs with braces rather than body armor, Dog could easily become the most popular — and reviled — show in the history of television. Take that, Norman Lear.
No matter, the public is pretty clear that hateful language will not be tolerated and if A&E wants to fire him that is their business. However, it seems downright silly that the NAACP is holding a public forum to:
…discuss the various impacts of the incident and ways to move past it…
Who in their right mind needs to move past the inane private rantings of a lunatic “reality” show guy? Are we so thin-skinned that barely literate ex-cons dropping the n-bomb becomes fodder for the national media?
This is not an elected official or a man in a position of authority over anyone other than his entertainingly dysfunctional family and their assorted flunkies. This is not a teacher, a doctor or a cop. This is a bail bondsman working out of a storefront in a strip mall. An ignorant redneck. A particularly dynamic redneck, but trash just the same. These guys are a dime a dozen and if any media outlet wants to buy — and we’re talking five figures here — taped racist rants, I can head down to the local biker bar and bait a few of the Aryan Nation parolees for you.
Note to potential buyers: I will be needing full medical, including dental, before accepting this assignment. You may as well throw in some extended stay and catastrophic stuff too.
